The Monster Battle series, one of JUMPRIZE’s most popular rods, now appears in a short-length 8.9ft model.
Designed by Yuki Inoue, this length has been his most frequently used setup when targeting big sea bass and Hirasuzuki in tight locations. Development began more than ten years ago and the rod was repeatedly refined through extensive field testing.
The 8.9ft length provides exceptional control and maneuverability in small fishing areas while still maintaining the casting distance required for boat games and open water situations.
It is ideal not only for shore-based fishing for large sea bass and Hirasuzuki, but also for boat fishing targeting sea bass, Spanish mackerel, and pelagic species. During testing, the rod successfully landed a 30kg-class yellowtail kingfish.
The TWO LIMIT 89 Monster Battle delivers powerful lifting strength and reliable control when using PE1.5 class tackle, making it one of the most capable short rods for both shore and offshore fishing.
