PRODUCT OVERVIEW
The evolved ALLWAKE 108 Monster Battle Plus!!
JUMPRIZE’s most popular rod series, the “Monster Battle,” known for achieving the highest balance of flexibility and power, returns with further refinement as the Plus model.
The 108 Monster Battle Plus features a powerful blank rated for PE #2, capable of handling unexpected large pelagic fish from rocky shores. At the same time, it has been strongly optimized for long-distance surf fishing, offering full compatibility with PE #1.2 lines.
While the previous model was most comfortable with small plugs around 10g, the Plus model—although still rated at 10g—can be controlled freely down to approximately 7g once the angler becomes accustomed to it. In addition, the blank’s breaking strength has been improved by approximately 3%.
■ Standard Model
Uses the same EVA grip as the conventional Monster Battle model.
■ Premium Model
Equipped with a highest-grade custom cork grip featuring exceptional water resistance and abrasion resistance.
Compared to EVA, cork provides a sharper tactile feel, greatly improving the usability of small plugs and allowing anglers to detect subtle underwater changes—an important advantage in technical situations.
Its high friction coefficient prevents slipping even when wet, while its hydrophobic properties help repel water and allow the grip to dry quickly.
Another advantage is that cork can be self-repaired if scratched, and it develops a richer character and feel through years of use.
*Both the Standard and Premium models share the same blank construction and guide system. The only difference between them is the grip material.
